The corset is based on ostrich egg disc beads strung on cords. The disc beads vary between lighter and darker beige. The strings are in turn formed into rings, which are connected vertically by lacing with leather straps. In the upper area, 19 of the rings are fixed at relatively close intervals by this leather; in the lower area, some of these fixings are missing on approx. 9 of the chains, so that the chains, some of which are somewhat longer, swing in a semi-circle between them.
