The wooden vessel is oval and has a relatively wide opening at the neck, which is slightly offset by the carving. There are also two perforations (= 4 holes) in the neck through which leather straps are threaded. The upper end of the leather is wider and cannot pass through the hole. Several dark lines can be recognised in the wood under the holes, forming a kind of triangle.
