The neck of the spout is tightly wrapped with several lengths of copper wire. The short handle tapers to a point from about its centre. Pressure marks on one spout indicate the absence of a spear shoe. Provenance: Africa (?). The object belongs to the estate of the senior general practitioner Georg Wilke (*1859 Dresden +1938 Rochlitz), which initially went to the teaching collection of the Rochlitz secondary school after his death and was transferred to the collection of Rochlitz Castle in the 1960s.
