The copper-alloyed blade tip of the battle or hunting arrow is attached to a bamboo shaft by a spike. A three-part radial feathering is preserved, but largely detached from its thread wrapping. The feathers and the feathered part of the shaft are gold-coloured. The end of the shaft is slit. Provenance: Japan (?). The object belongs to the estate of the senior general practitioner Georg Wilke (*1859 Dresden +1938 Rochlitz), which initially went to the teaching collection of the Rochlitz secondary school after his death and was transferred to the collection of Rochlitz Castle in the 1960s.
