Object no. 10 (Object list Antonie Brandeis, 2nd consignment Nov 1901, SAF C3/241/2): "Napf. Wood. Used as an eating utensil or for serving food". According to the collector, the bowl comes from Nauru, as noted in the old inventory book ("Insel Nauru. (Marshall Islands)"). On the index card from 1968, however, only "Marshall Islands" was entered.
