The collection consisted of 45 cylinder photographs, of which 37 are extant; the original labelling of the cylinders is THO KA, there were cases of confusion with the Tessmann Collection (siglum TE KA); there were occasional comments on individual photographs, the texts are not available. The rollers were transcribed and edited by Wilhelm Heinitz for publication (cf. also correspondence). Transcriptions and analyses by W. Heinitz in Thorbecke (1919).
