Toy horse with saddle. Stylised shape, carved from wood carved from wood, painted in black and bright colours. Original wooden box (jap. kiribako) with inscription in black ink: kodomo aouma "grey mould, for children". Under the belly of the little horse is a red-edged paper label with red lettering: Honjo-ku Umayabashi ichi no nijûkyû sore Kisaburō tsukuru. This indicates the address (in Tokyo) and the craftsman: Honjo district, Umaya Bridge 1-29, that made Kisaburō made.
