Pointed spear shaft or spear shoe made of iron with a socket. A round intermediate or shaft piece made of wood is inserted into the socket. The wooden part in turn ends in a point, onto which the upper, iron part of the spear was probably attached. Below the conical spout, the shaft is slightly square in shape before it tapers to a round end. There are eight notches at each of the four corners. The spear probably originates from East Africa, as it has the characteristic shape of Maasai hunting spears.
