There are two triangular sound holes in the flat upper side, which together form a rectangle with a diagonal bridge. On the upper side, seven bamboo tongues are clamped by an attached wooden bridge against a bridge in front of and behind the bridge. The underside of the reed tips and the section between the front bridge and the bridge are partially covered with chunks of black tuning paste.
