The instrument has seven front finger holes drilled diagonally upwards and no thumb hole. A wide band in the colours yellow, red and blue is attached below the finger holes, and a large coconut shell segment is attached to the upper end of the body as a lip support. The inside of the funnel is painted red. The mouthpiece is missing.
