Like no. 243 [III A 1010 a-b] The type of board joint is unclear, however. An almost square string carrier that widens where the rear, almost cylindrical wooden peg is inserted. The string is wound together with string made of plant material and a strip of cloth. An angled wooden bridge perforated at the apex for the string to pass through. The lower tailpiece is a loop of twisted vegetable fibre that is looped around the spit. The end of the string, looped into a knot, is buttoned through the loop outlet, which is narrowed with cross windings. No bindings on the instrument. The bow is an evenly curved roundwood stick. A cross-shaped neck tip. from Ulrich Wegner: Afrikanische Saiteninstrumente, Staatliche Museen Berlin - SPK, 1984 (Appendix Object Catalogue)
