A long, only slightly curved stick made of light-coloured wood, both ends [are] pointed. The resonator is a halved, elongated calabash with a perforation at the apex of the curvature. The string and connecting materials are missing. The string carrier is wrapped with thin wire in several places. On the resonator [is] a full-surface burnt pattern: geometric motifs filled in cross-hatching. from Ulrich Wegner: Afrikanische Saiteninstrumente, Staatliche Museen Berlin - SPK, 1984 (Appendix Object Catalogue)
