Women's veil (chünban) Rectangular, natural-coloured cloth with coloured silk embroidery and black warp-knot border. Attached to the upper corners is a multicoloured woven band with 7 differently arranged tassels (left: 1x purple, 1 X blue, 3x burgundy, 1x yellow, 1x green. right: 1x purple, 1x green, 2x yellow, 1x orange-red, 1x burgundy, 1x blue). There is also a short black and white cord. In the centre, 3 rectangular fields one below the other, with the aforementioned grid at the top (visible), surrounded by small ornaments. Below this is a stylised tree with yellow, spiral-like tendrils and small peacocks next to it. Below this is another field with a probably degenerate peacock depiction (cf. IB 5338 with a clear peacock depiction), the same ornamentation can be found on the wide border.
