Object no. 6 (Object list Antonie Brandeis, 1st consignment April 1900, SAF D.Sm 35/1): "Rack for drying Arrow-root. Ligielik".
In her text "South Sea Memories" from 1908 (Deutsche Kolonialzeitung vol. 25, no. 3), Antonie Brandeis mentions that she "had old people make specimens of utensils from earlier times that no longer exist today" (p. 37), without, however, specifying this for individual objects. It can be assumed that this could refer in particular to the models made for the collection.
