"Group with a male and a female figure, between them a snake. Both figures completely unclothed with tattoos, which do not speak against Benin; the man is holding a shotgun, the woman a club. Unusually crude work cast in a lost mould, with the original cast skin still visible almost everywhere. If the indication Benin is correct, it is a very late piece, perhaps cast after 1897. H. 16 cm. 'Benin'"
