This object almost certainly belongs to the Brandeis collection, even if it cannot be clearly identified. The old inventory number 2144 is given twice in the Old Inventory Book - once for II/1337 (raffia scroll) and once for this object ("ornament to hang on the neck"). The latter, however, under 2144b. The old inventory number 2145 corresponds to no. 25 in Antonie Brandeis' object list for the 2nd consignment: "Alte Stücke von Halsbändern. Excavated, tridacna shell" (SAF C3/241/2). Presumably it belongs to these.
