Basket
According to Antonie Brandeis, this basket made from thin strips of coconut leaf, twigs and coconut fibre rope was used to transport chickens. The opening has been finished with a solid edging. According to Eugen Brandeis, Ludwig Kaiser, the district commissioner of Nauru where the objects originated, collected the artefacts at Brandeis' behest.
