Rectangular bag made from diagonally woven plant material in a light brown colour. Lines of dark brown plant fibres form geometric patterns on the outside of the bag. Fringes are knotted to the bottom edge. The upper end is finished with a braided edge and can be closed with two strands of fibre. Four twisted cords of plant fibres on each side of the bag, knotted together in the middle, form the handle. There is an old paper label on the bag with the handwritten note "8. XII.09. \ Nauer, Simpsonhafen. (Dampfer 'Schwaben')".
