Maharaja wears numerous pearl necklaces around his neck, finger and earrings, bangles, turban and sarpech. He wears pyjamas and a knee-length, richly ornamentally embroidered kurta and khussas (upturned shoes). The Rani also wears numerous pearl necklaces around her neck, bangles, earrings and a nose ring. A tilak can be recognised on her forehead. She is wearing a sari whose folds are skilfully draped in the direction of movement. These folds are presumably staged solely for the photograph. A magnificent chair and table serve as props.
