Photograph of 2 men and a woman, each standing in front of a small mound of earth. The man in the centre is presumably the dancing Aghori. His right leg is bent and resting on the inside of his other leg. In his right hand he is holding up an object (skull bowl?), in his left hand he is holding something wrapped in a cloth. He is wearing a knee-length robe and a headdress decorated with numerous strings around his waist and arm. The other two figures are facing each other. One is wearing a light-coloured hip scarf, a turban and shawl, a rudrakshamala around his neck and beating a drum. The other person is probably an older woman in a skirt and blouse and shaggy hair, holding a lota (ritual water vessel) and a trishul (trident, symbolising Shiva) in front of her stomach.
