detailed description on the ethnomusicology index card: the barrel-shaped drum body is made of wood and has a membrane of sturdy leather on both sides, which is attached with numerous round-headed nails. The drum body is painted green. There is a purple round stamp with [dimeric] characters on each of the membranes = two metal eyelets with [] are attached to the side for fastening a carrying strap. Length: 34 cm Ø of the membranes: 14.7 cm, centre Ø ~: 23 cm Addition in pencil + einheim. Inscription (title): small double barrel drum (po-fu) - yaogu ("hip drum"). China
