Labelling of the rollers: CL OSTGR or Leden Grönland or Leden Grönland 1910. Some "Leden" rollers were still inventoried by Hornbostel (inv. no. 5220-5279), but it is not clear from the documents which specific rollers were involved. Rolls 9 and 14 were included in the dem. coll. as no. 58 and 59, the corresponding galvanos are missing in the boxes of the dem. coll. The galvanic negatives of these photographs were brought to Norway in March 1934 at the intervention of the Norwegian Embassy in Berlin and are now in the Oslo University Library. Extensive correspondence is available. Some transcriptions in Leden 1954; copies exist in Dansk Folkemindesamling Copenhagen and have been transferred to tape (cf. also Rossen (1989) # 28).
