Apron made from nettle fibre. Brown cotton yarn woven into stripes. Embroidered with dark blue, light blue, brown and purple cotton thread. To prevent the fabric from fraying, the lower hem is bordered with a half cross stitch. An apron string was obviously sewn to the upper edge.
