The membrane drawn over a small, flat and almost round calabash shell is folded outwards at the edges, where it is held together and bound tightly by means of a wire running round it. Square longitudinal arms diverging towards the crossbar and joined below the membrane on the rear edge of the bowl. Six strings tied to tuning pegs where the crossbar is rounded in its more central section. The lower tailpiece is a wire loop extending from the wire ring on the edge of the membrane to the soundboard. A wooden bridge with string guide notches. The size of the bowl is relatively small compared to the proportions of the yoke construction. Black colouring of the entire instrument.
