Group shot of 2 small boys and 7 men. It is not possible to recognise which of the two boys is the Maharaja. Both are sitting on a wide armchair, wearing magnificent turbans and clothes, jewellery and shoes. Their 7 companions sit and stand next to and behind them. 5 of them are wearing the turbans, which are twisted like a cord and wrapped around their heads (see also P 15742). They are also wearing richly embroidered clothing and carrying weapons. The other two men on the right-hand edge of the picture are dressed more modestly. The man sitting on the chair is barefoot and holds a book in his right hand. The man behind him is probably a Parsee (typical Parsi headdress).
