The body has seven frontal tone holes and no thumb hole. Its design is reminiscent of Chinese tradition: The tone holes are framed by wooden bosses. The wooden lip disc develops from the tip of the body. The mouthpiece consists of 2x6 lamellae made of palm leaf, which are bound to a quill. It is inserted directly into the tip of the body without a separate reed support. The instrument is used in an ensemble for so-called "circumcision parades".
