The apron is made of leather straps decorated with metal beads. It consists of a leather strap approximately 3 cm wide that is wrapped around the hips. A leather strand is folded over this wide strap to a length of approximately 28 cm, which is cut into long, narrow leather straps on both sides. Some of these straps, which are up to 75 cm long, have 1 or 2 larger metal beads strung on them. Some of these beads are wrapped in plant fibres to prevent them from slipping. The ends of the wide band are cut into four narrow strips each. At the base, the eight strips are connected by leather cross-connections, on which metal beads are strung in nine rows. There are two beads between each strip. A narrow leather band is threaded through the wide hip band, presumably to tie the apron.
