tunguluasi =Roter Stein
The following was noted in the museum's main catalogue when this object was received: "Earring made of brass wrapped in a copper wire spiral; with a red stone (tunguluasi). The stone supposedly comes from Umburru near Mangati, where these stones are found, processed and sold for goats. Irangi (Worn by Sultan Muhâmba of Paî in Irangi, eastern slope of the Irangi mountains)".
