The inscription on the rollers reads: Helfritz Araber (Transjordan) The copies of the collection were not removed from storage during the war, but were in the possession of M. Schneider. Helfritz himself was unable to provide any further information on the contents of the rolls (Helfritz visited the PHA in December 1994). Extensive correspondence is available.
