The Museum Fünf Kontinente is a museum of the world’s cultures with permanent exhibitions on Africa, Myanmar, North America, the Orient, Oceania and South America. With around 160,000 objects and 135,000 photographs from Africa, the Americas, Asia, Oceania and parts of Europe, it has one of the largest and most important ethnological collections in the world. As one of Bavaria’s broad range of museums, the Museum Fünf Kontinente provides unique access to the cultural riches of the earth’s people, builds bridges from the past to the present day and invites visitors to engage with other perspectives and ways of life.
