Privacy policy for the collection of personal data: Consent and purpose of data storage and processing

By providing your personal data (first and last name, email address), you give your consent to the electronic storage and processing of this data for the purposes of logging in.

We need your personal data in order to:

- give you personalized access to the Deutsche Digitale Bibliothek (set up an account),

- enable you to use personalized features on the portal. These include, for example, your own favourite lists, which you can call up on subsequent visits to the website.

Revocation

You can revoke your consent to the storage and processing of your personal data at any time. To do so, simply delete your account (in your personalized area under: ‘My DDB: account’). By revoking consent, you forgo personalized access to ‘My DDB’. Saved settings will be irrevocably deleted.
